Assistant Toxicologist I Post-Mortem

Forensic Toxicology

The main purpose of this full-time position will be to assist the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in determining cause and manner of death by conducting tests for toxic substances in biological specimens submitted by medical examiners.

Qualified candidates must possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology or another appropriate science from an accredited college or university.

 
OR
 
A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology or another appropriate science from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience in forensic toxicology.
