Forensic Seized Drug Unit Supervisor

This position will supervise the seized drug testing section within the Forensic Chemistry section of the Maine HETL. Primary responsibilities include: oversight of daily operations, assigning & ensuring cases are completed efficiently, communicating with customers, proficiency in all testing methods to assist with performing seized drug testing as needed, technically & administratively review seized drug cases, appear as an expert witness in court as needed, train new analysts, participate in annual internal audits, ensuring analysts are engaged in continuing education and overseeing & performing validations of new instruments and methods.
